The Royal Horticultural Halls & Conference Centre was a finalist in the COOL Venues Awards 2008 under the category ‘COOLest Conference / Exhibition Centre’.

The awards were developed by Prestige Events magazine to recognise an unsung and largely influential element that emerges in the process of planning a corporate event.

As a COOL venue, all nominees have: charisma, originality, style, innovation, sex appeal, authenticity, and uniqueness.

Commended in the 'Venue Development and Innovation' category at the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) Excellence Awards 2007.
